TEMPORARY SOUTH COMPLEX RUNWAY 25R/7L CLOSURE

6 AM – 1 PM

 

LAX will temporarily close the south inboard runway (25R/7L) on Friday, February 26th from 6 AM to 1 PM to facilitate and prepare the runway rehabilitation work for the adjacent south outboard runway (25L/7R).

 

Persons living near LAX may notice a change in aircraft flight activity and noise during this temporary runway closure. When the south inboard runway (25R/7L) temporarily closes during this period, more aircraft are expected to use the south outboard runway (25L/7R) for departure and arrival operations. In addition, some aircraft operations may shift from the South to the North Complex.
